The Air Jordan 1 High “UNC PE” is a Player Exclusive colorway of Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe that was given to members of North Carolina Tar Heels athletics program. Michael Jordan’s alma mater joined the Oklahoma Sooners, Florida Gators, and Michigan Wolverines in receiving luxury-inspired makeups of the iconic retro basketball and lifestyle shoe from Jordan Brand in 2020. Here, on the “UNC PE,” the forefoot, eyelets, and collar feature a faux crocodile leather in Carolina Blue. Contrasting navy blue pebbled leather appears on the perforated toe, collar overlay, and heel. The Swoosh found on either side also displays the same dark blue hue as the overlay panels. The “Wings” logo on the collar is featured in Carolina Blue. Classic “Nike Air” and “UNC” branding can be found on the light blue nylon tongue tag on the right and left shoe, respectively.
